Excellent version of a Sherlock Holmesian detective set in Japan

More subtle than Doyle's Holmes, but in the same vein. An almost perfect combination of plot, character, and setting (being immersed in a culture different from mine is always fun) that never takes you out of the story with bad writing or outlandish plot points. Loved it - would have given it 4.5 stars if I could...
