moving story of growing up, finding your own identity, and dealing with loss and grief
It slowed for me toward the end, but I don't want to criticize - this is a heartfelt and well-written memoir of youth (in particular, growing up Asian-American) and loss, and overall I found it absorbing and relatable, even though my college years (and music tastes) were more staid. Love the Blockbuster references.
