The big bad wolf.

Across the country, men and women are kidnapped in broad daylight and disappear completely. Alex Cross realises they are being bought and sold, not held for ransom. Alex grows impatient with the FBI's clumsiness and caution and has to go out on his own and try to rescue some of the victims who are still alive.
