Superb. At one point I gasped and said oh my god out loud. Rarely do I not see something coming from far away. In order for me to give a book five stars, I have to finish it, close the book and say WOW THAT WAS GREAT. I did and it was.

Review of 'The school of essential ingredients' on 'Goodreads'

Very quick and easy to read. I'd say it would be pretty much a requirement for someone to be very into food in order to enjoy this. I think much of it had to do with my mood. I was in the right place and time to enjoy it. Quite sappy and not terrible deep but satisfying nevertheless.
