One of the first fiction books I ever read on my own. It’s better than most of the movies.

This book is incredible. Some folks it hits and some folks it doesn’t. For me this was a sucker punch of all the forgotten feelings from high school years.

Solid intro. I really enjoy Gaiman’s writing and the art is solid, although i don’t love it. It’s a little goofy in places, but mostly it holds up and creates an incredible world. Issues 1 & 8 are the highlights.

A little too hippyish at times, but over all good solid principals for living and playing guitar. Not recommended if you’re not a guitarist.

Fucking hell. Nostalgia for a life I’ve never lived. He writes about the mundane in such a way that you keep reading. And you wonder why you’re reading. But you are. He’s so good and deconstructing scenes and putting you in his head. While reading this I started to think in his prose.

This was a life-changing book for me. But I can’t blindly recommend it to everyone. It’s not something to force on people. If you’re curious about stoicism and drawn to it, pick this up.

Dear god. A hell of a read and a hell of a reread.

Solid read. Great commentary on toxic masculinity before that was even a term. And wrestling with the subtle pressures placed on men in the modern era. Movie is better tho. That’s a rare statement.
