What a waste of a conspiracy. This is nearly Return of the Sith bad when it comes to plausible reasons to be cartoonishly evil.
If you've started and like train wrecks, by all means...it's fun to rip apart. If you are curious, just stop and go watch any supernatural horror TV show, it will be better.

It's sort of becoming a comic book, which is okay I guess. I sort of hate most of the characters at this point but mainly Shaun.
I wonder what this story would be like with an author of actual skill and properly researched forethought...
I'm a completionist so onto the last one.

There are definite issues with the writing in this book. Tossing that aside, I enjoyed it in much the way I like movies where things blow up or supernatural things bite people.
It was fun, but bad. I'm going to read the next one.

This book is a series of incomplete thoughts and lacks the suspense and world building of the previous two novels completely. Half of the drama and action of the story takes place elsewhere or while our narrator is hiding, recovering or in a drugged haze. None of the plot points leading up to the conclusion seem to have any real significance as the ending just sort of happens as if by the result of some external force...like an impending book deadline.
Just stop at Catching Fire and write your own ending. It will be better.
