A slim comic with wry advice on how to avoid having Driving While Black turn into Dead Black Male. It's the spiritual successor to Chris Rock's 90s-era "How Not to Get Your Ass Kicked by the Police" skit; like "Ass Kicked," the comic delivers advice as deadly true as it is over-the-top. It includes clever representation from other groups who, while not likely to be stopped for no reason in a car, are oppressed in myriad other ways.
Though in many ways society has moved forward since the 90s, the terror that cops impose on Black motorists absolutely has not changed.
