the book was fine, just rating the person
1 star
Ratings should be graphed over time. When I read this ten years ago, I thought it was a pretty good business book by that rarity of rarities, a hugely successful high tech entrepreneur who's a decent human being and I would have given it four stars (and apparently I did after I first added this to my read list here). But now after seeing the sequel is a "what's good for crypto is good for America" Trump endorsement on his VC website (along with his partner Marc Andreesen who helped invent the web and then ruin it), along with his donations to that campaign, I would give it negative stars if I could. (Ironically his second book is actually titled "What you do is who you are")
