"If your funny older sister were the former deputy chief of staff to President Barack Obama, her behind-the-scenes political memoir would look something like this. [This book] is an intimate and admiring portrait of a president, a candid book of advice for young women, and a promising debut from a savvy political star"--

Better question...WHO THOUGHT WRITING THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA?

I'm a huge fan of anything about the Obama administration but this was painful to read. Instead of info about working in the White House we got stories of her no having tampons (really, any grown woman can figure out to carry tampons when she might need one), puking, not sleeping, and having diarrhea. Could barely finish it.
