Great novel from one of the master of Japanese mystery. An excellent setting and an ending that I didn't predict. This is my fourth Kosokue Kindaichi novel and it is definitely one of the better ones. I liked it as much as I did "The Honjin Murders." However I am starting to see some ticks or patterns in the author's writing that might make further novels less enjoyable.
