What an amazing reminder about how unspoken social norms are a minefield for autistic people that can lead to misdiagnosis and mistreatment. I don’t believe I’ve seen Fern perform, but her voice has an unflinching honesty that’s compelling and challenges the reader (me). I recommend it, but it could trigger people on so many aspects.
