Muir nails it again. A perfect third book for the series--a fresh tone and perspective paired with a deepening of existing characters and themes.
The surprise with each successive book is no longer the ease with which Muir blends twelve genres in a single book. It's that it's a new mix of genres each time. This time, the Locked Tomb's blend of sci-fi, horror and fantasy meets--among other things--a heist story, political intrigue, and middle-grade slice of life.
