Oddly didn’t love this as a kid. But it was good.

I read this and all the other Dr. Suess books way too much as a kid.

I don’t know why this one holds such a special place in my heart but it does. This giant World Cup thing just works well. It’s so damn good and fun and the end is SO GOOD. It’s here where we as an audience are hooked for life.

This is the best one by a long shot. The flashbacks explaining who our villain is are so good. I adore this book. And curse that damn movie adaptation. It’s so bad. BEST BOOK.

Rowling kicks it into high gear and shows she can juggle some pretty complex and adult themes. Loved this one. The dementors are terrifying.

The longest and maybe the worst. But the final moments make up for how much the middle drags. Jesus Rowling’s editor should’ve been more aggressive here. But the final 100 pages are 💯.

The worst one by far. Still awesome and readable and fun. But god that professor of the dark arts is annoying.

One of my favorite comics ever. This book made me cry. I bought it for my dad.

Five stars for plot. Taking away one star for terrible art at times.
