What a disappointment! Joyless, clunky prose. One dimensional characters, every one an obvious type. Dialogue that sounds like it's straight outta "Leave It to Beaver." No plot, no antagonist, no rising or falling action, no strife, no drama, no intrigue, nothing at stake, no ideas at play. Much coffee is made. Many omelettes are eaten. Our hero studies and takes tests. At one point, the main characters are psyched because they have sold some belts. Five more books in the series? No thanks.
