Good novel that plays in CA and mixes the tech world with real life

Entertaining read. Kept me engaged and thirsty for more. Enjoyed reading it and finished fast. I think it is more enjoyable when you live in CA and know the places mentioned in the book but I’m not too sure about that.

This is one of my favorite books. The story includes virtual reality tech, dystopian elements, and computer games from the 1980's - What more can one ask for?
