These essays were eye-opening about the brutality to which Palestinians have been subjected for almost a century now at the hands of imperialism and Zionism.

I love science fiction, but I’ve been branching out more into fantasy, mystery, and even some romance. It’s always fun to explore unfamiliar genres!

Can't trust the "facts"
2 stars
Within a couple of minutes, and just doing a quick flip through this book, I saw two obvious errors. I picture "on the set of 'The Price Is Right' in the 1990s" features Johnny Olsen, who died in 1985. And among the "worst" game shows is one of my train-wreck favorites, "Three's a Crowd", a Newlywed Game-like show for which the book gets the rules wrong -- the wife had to match her husband's answers to get points, not both her husband's and his secretary's. Both of these are obvious (if you know) and easily verifiable (if you don't).
It's a shame. I had this book on my wishlist for months and finally bought it. There are mentions of some shows I had forgotten about or just never knew existed, but now I just won't believe anything here that's new to me.
