Content warning Discusses the book as a whole
This is a fine exploration of some of the false win-win mentality for extractive technology, but I suspect this could've been effectively written as an article instead of a book and still been effective at getting the point across.
I believe they discuss a real and meaningful issue, I just don't know if they needed so many words to do so!

The author follows a repetitious pattern of proving restating the point. The author lays out a philosophy of organizing that is all too familiar. I have peers and acquaintances that are stuck in Market World thinking, and I'm hopeful the end of the book offers some insight into how to guide folks away from that pattern of thinking
